1, Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene (PP) is a semi crystalline thermoplastic known for its excellent processability and wide range of applications. In injection molding, PP is highly favored due to its good fluidity, low shrinkage rate, and excellent chemical resistance. The melting point of PP material is relatively low, making it easy to melt and inject into molds. At the same time, after cooling, it can quickly solidify and form a stable product shape. In addition, PP also has high impact strength and wear resistance, making it widely used in fields such as automobiles, home appliances, and packaging.
2, Polystyrene (PS)
Polystyrene (PS) is another plastic material that is easy to inject. It has good transparency and glossiness, as well as lower processing temperature and faster molding speed. During the injection molding process, PS can quickly fill the mold and solidify, forming products with smooth surfaces and precise dimensions. However, it should be noted that PS has relatively poor impact resistance and is prone to cracking or deformation when subjected to external impact. Therefore, when choosing PS as the injection molding material, it is necessary to fully consider the product's usage environment and requirements.
3, Polycarbonate (PC)
Polycarbonate (PC) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering plastic with excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, and weather resistance. Although the processing temperature of PC is relatively high, it can still exhibit good fluidity and formability under appropriate injection molding conditions. PC material injection molded products have high strength, high transparency, and good impact resistance, and are widely used in fields such as electronics, automotive manufacturing, medical equipment, etc. Especially when manufacturing components that need to withstand high temperature or high pressure environments, PC materials are an indispensable choice.
4, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS)
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS) is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive performance, combining the chemical resistance of acrylonitrile, the flexibility of butadiene, and the glossiness of styrene. In injection molding, ABS material exhibits good fluidity, impact resistance, and heat resistance. It can not only quickly fill the mold and form a stable shape, but also maintain good dimensional stability and mechanical properties at high temperatures. Therefore, ABS material has been widely used in fields such as electronics, automotive parts, and toy manufacturing.
5, Nylon (PA)
Nylon (PA) is a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance, and chemical resistance. Although nylon has a high processing temperature and relatively poor flowability, under appropriate injection molding conditions, it can still form products with smooth surfaces and precise dimensions. Nylon injection molded products are widely used in automotive manufacturing, mechanical equipment, electronic appliances and other fields, especially in components that need to withstand high loads, high friction or high temperature environments.
6, Other easily injectable plastics
In addition to the common injection molded plastics mentioned above, there are also some other materials that have good injection molding performance. For example, common plastics such as polyethylene (PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can also achieve good injection molding effects under specific conditions. However, these materials may have some limitations in certain aspects, such as temperature resistance, impact resistance, or chemical resistance, which may not be as good as the engineering plastics mentioned above.
