Design data of 15 kinds of clamping mechanism GIFs
1.Self-centering fixture

A Green double eccentric and two blue wedge slides center the yellow workpiece laterally and longitudinally.
2.Self-Centering Fixture Two

Orange screws with left and right hand threads move the V-block to center the yellow workpiece both laterally and longitudinally. The blue pin and screw(on the lower part of the base)are used to adjust the center position of the clamp in the longitudinal direction.
3.Self-centering fixture 3

The orange screws with left and right hand threads move the V-block to center the yellow workpiece both laterally and longitudinally. The blue nut and red screw on the green slider are used to adjust the center position longitudinally.

For this adjustment, the last scene of the animation shows how to move one V-shaped block while keeping the other V-shaped block stationary.
4.Self-centering fixture four

The pink cam lever controls the clamping process and the red spring maintains contact between the cam and the piler. It can also be used in dies for stamping undercut workpieces(soft metals).
5.Self-centering fixture 5

Two symmetrical end cams center the yellow workpiece longitudinally.
6.Self-centering fixture six

Two symmetrical V-shaped levers center the yellow workpiece longitudinally.
7.Self-centering fixture 7

The green links of the parallelogram mechanism center the yellow workpiece longitudinally.
8.Self-centering fixture eight

V-shaped blocks(one fixed,the other movable)center the yellow workpiece longitudinally.
9.Sefl-centering fixture nine

The yellow running workpiece is centered longitudinally when in contact with both pink roller pairs. This jig is used for bamboo slitting machine. The red knife is stationary.
10.Self-centering fixture ten

Turn the orange and yellow gear set to clamp the brown workpiece. Two gray pads center the workpiece along its longitudinal direction.
Centering condition:
R 1 /R 3 = R 2 /R 4 (blue and green gears have equal angular velocity)
Gear pitch radius relationship:
R 4 =R 1 +R 2 +R 3
R1,R2,R3 and R4 are the pitch radii of the orange, yellow, blue and green gears, respectively.
11.Sefl-centering fixtue eleven

Multi-piece clamping.V-blocks center the yellow workpiece longitudinally, with compression springs between the V-blockes.
12.Self-centering fixture twelve

The workpiece(orange) is clamped(orange)with a hydraulic cylinder via a green wedge on the piston, two pins and two yellow levers. The pink V-block centers the workpiece along its length.
13.Self-centering fixture thirteen

The floating cylinder moves the two pink jaws synchronously. The slider-crank mechanism of the orange linkage takes light loads and ensures equal displacement of both jaws.
14.Self-centering fixture fourteen

This fixture is used to clamp cross, tee, elbow workpiece(yellow).Several surfaces can be completed in one clamping.Turn the orange left and right screws to move the green slider, which has blue jaws that rotate on the slider.
15.Self-centering uncoiler fifteen

Turn the orange screw to move the yellow bar radially so that the coil is centered(in the glass). The coil is then turned to unwind, and the brake drum at the end of the pink shaft is used to generate unwind tension. Here an ellipse mechanism(yellow bar and blue hub, green link) is applied to convert the linear motion of the blue hub to the linear motion of the yellow bar.A parallelogram mechanism is used to support the yellow bars. This uncoiler is suitable for coils with small width.
