Manufacturing process
The manufacturing process of the two-color injection mold for Bluetooth speakers requires precise mold design and efficient injection molding process control. The specific manufacturing process includes the following steps:
Mold design: According to the product design requirements, design a mold that can accommodate two different materials and ensure that the two materials can be perfectly combined during the injection molding process. After the front and rear molds of the mold are rotated 180° from the center, they must be matched. This inspection action must be done during the design to ensure the accuracy of mold frame positioning and processing.
Material selection: Select two different materials that are suitable for product function and appearance requirements, usually a combination of hard plastic and soft plastic. In 99% of cases, the hard part of the product is injected first, and then the soft part of the product is injected, because soft glue is easy to deform.
Injection molding: Different materials are injected into the mold through two injection molding machines to form an integral product. In this process, the temperature, pressure and injection time need to be precisely controlled to ensure the perfect combination of the two materials. The total thickness of the front mold panel plus the A plate shall not be less than 170mm, and other reference data of this model of injection molding machine must be carefully checked, such as the maximum mold thickness, minimum mold thickness, KO hole distance, etc.
Cooling and solidification: After injection molding, the product is cooled and solidified in the mold, and then taken out of the mold for subsequent quality inspection and packaging. Before closing the A and B plates, pay attention to whether the front mold slider or the inclined top will reset first and crush the product, and ensure that these factors are taken into account in the mold design.

Working Principle
The working principle of the two-color injection mold is to use two injection molding machines to inject different plastic materials into the same mold to form a product composed of two different materials. This process requires highly precise control and coordination to ensure the quality and consistency of the finished product. The specific steps are as follows:
First injection: First, the hard part of the product is injected. The size can be slightly larger so that it can be pressed more tightly with the other male mold during the second molding to achieve a sealing effect.
Center rotation: The front and rear molds of the mold are rotated 180° from the center and then matched. This operation requires careful consideration when designing the mold and ensure high precision of mold positioning and processing.
Second injection: After completing the first injection, the mold is rotated and the second material, usually a soft material, is injected. When designing the master mold for the second injection, the insert of the second master mold should be avoided from scratching the sealing position of the product that has been injected for the first time. A part of the gap can be designed, but the strength of each sealing position must be carefully considered to avoid plastic deformation under a large injection pressure, which will lead to unqualified second injection.
Cooling and curing: After injection molding, the product needs to be cooled and cured in the mold to ensure the size and shape of the final product are stable.
Product removal: After injection molding and cooling, the product is removed from the mold for quality inspection and packaging. The nozzle of the three-plate mold is preferably designed to be automatically demolded, and special attention should be paid to whether the demolding action of the soft glue nozzle is standard.
